We entered the internet arena in 1995, with a site called Carnival Web Magazine. Shortly after we started the Yahoo Showmen’s Discussion and Mailing List which has been moderated by Don Stedges and Tom Hoey, since its inception.In 1997, we changed over to showmen.com and in 2001 due to legal issues became carnivalbiz.com. In the last few years we have added an extensive list of blogs about the outdoor amusement business industry including carnivals, amusement parks both in the USA and Worldwide plus those blogs that deal with Crafts, Modeling, Renaissance Fairs, the legit Theatre, Concerts and Fairgrounds. In 2008 we began adding social networks and through our main network at www.sociallyglobal.com and www.carnytown.org have added 50 State Networks and several networks dealing with non-profits. Currently we have the only Audio and Video and Text enabled Chat Rooms on the internet; targeted to those in the outdoor amusement business, moderated by Marcus Brumberger and his friends.
